It... Eh? I mean, it's a neat idea, but I feel like it would be [i]at least[/i] as ineffectual in this era as it is right now in real life. That is to say: [i]very.[/i] Potentially more.

We have some diametrically opposed nations idealogically, too. Corporate nations, confederations, federations, communist nations, monarchies, imperial republics, NPC police states, etc. This isn't to mention the topic of mutants. If we put all those guys in a room together and ask 'em to play nice, that's an even worse situation than the real world U.N. has.

I'm not against the idea, but I want to emphasize once more: I think it'd be ineffectual. It could be fun to RP, but it ought to be ineffectual.
