Living with the old lady taught her independence and strength. She wasn’t watched after very much, as her grandmother was bed ridden. She had to care for her, with the help of her Aunt who stayed with them. Birdie became a free spirit, eloquent in her way a speech. Homeschooled and kept at home most days, she is introverted and shy until you get to know her and crack open her shell.
