Closing her eyes she decided not to worry about it until her part of the watch came up, which wouldn't be for a few hours. It didn't take long for the woman to fall asleep, having Ash as a pillow made things rather comfortable. His fur was soft and warm and thankfully he didn't mind the fact that she was leaning back against him. Most dire wolves were not exactly the friendly type but she had raised him from a pup and they had a connection. He was far to young to be a bonded creature as of yet but she hoped that one day they could move to that level. For now though she trusted the furry puppy more than anyone else around her. Several hours passed, more than several and finally Ash nuzzled her against the cheek with his wet nose. Kyra yawned slightly as she sat up and scratched behind his ear. "Yeah, yeah, I'm up, I'm up," she muttered as she stood up and stretched her hands above her head. Looking back at Ash he liked his own nose before stretching himself and then rolling over and going back to sleep. "Lazy," she said as she rolled her eyes, a slight growl of protest leaving the wolves mouth before he was out cold once again. Shaking her head she stepped over to Keystone and placed a light hand on his shoulder. "I'll be in the trees," she informed the meditating man before walking off towards the line of the trees. Shouldering her bow she grabbed a low hanging branch and quickly made her way up into the canopy of trees and then a bit deeper into the woods away from the camp. She kept the camp fire in sight, but far enough away to let her eyes adjust somewhat, as she took a perch; unslinging her bow from her back and glancing around. The sun would be up within the next hour but it wouldn't help with the darkness. The clouds were far too thick at this point and Kyra pulled her cloak in closer around her. Taking a deep breath as the winds picked up everything seemed alright but even with the thunder rolling in the distance and the crackle of the fire it was still too quiet for her liking. It gave that feeling, like a parent gets when a toddler is laughing and suddenly goes quiet in the next room. Why ever it was quiet right then, it couldn't have been good. Taking an arrow out of her quiver she knocked it into place as she leaned back against the trunk of the tree. The only thing she could do now was watch and wait. She was patient, she could wait.
