[@MatthiasAngel] That first sentence was more about my character, in response to when you asked what room for development there is on a character who knew how to survive on their own. Also, in post-apocalyptic I doubt anyone will be concerned if you're a certified EMT, as long as you can patch them up well enough to live. You could easily get by with textbooks found somewhere, no mentor, and just whatever random survivors you came across for practice. If it's gonna be only 12 years I'll either be playing a twelve year old or I'll need to rewrite that history. I can probably do either.
