I think that would be fine. 

There are "NPC Refrences" in the first post of the characters tab if you'd like to take a look at that as well. Go to "Olivia Reese's Story" and you can see all the characters that have been put in place already. Feel free to take over one of them if you like. However, [@Emma] would know best as to what would fit Olivia as a best friend. :] It's kind of been put in place already that she has lost a lot of her friendships recently.
