I'm interested in this as well, but I'm not too keen on gunpowder but I'll keep an eye on this.
As GoldEagle said, guns do their job but they don't replace classical equipment. Guns can have a number of advantages but most of those are in terms of logistics and other "soft" stats. Crossbows and arrows can be shot for hundreds of meters because you can clearly see the projectile as it arcs. You can't do this with muskets thus combined with other issues it was inherently worse for long range harassment. Muskets had advantages, too. Especially when you had the industry to equip whole armies with them. But basically during the 15th century muskets and crossbows/longbows were like apples and oranges. You can also say it's a matter of style. Depending on how you wish to play both ways are viable and neither has an unfair advantage over the other. If somebody wants I can give you a list of pros and cons later so you would feel more comfortable at choosing which weapon you want. Although for most times it's just up to your personal feelings. There's no bad decision on this which would assuredly put you at a disadvantage.
