(Oh, oops. Should have been Mitchell. ^^;; ) "Indeed, the question never came up. But now that we're here, why don't you all tell her?" Mathias spoke. Mary spoke up first, as if she was eager to tell her story. Though there was a different reason than eagerness behind it. "I'll start. I met Mathias about 150 years ago. Back then I was known as a serial killer." Her tone of voice was more serious now. Though it actually made her sound a little bit creepy. For these few moments, it actually showed that she wasn't a little child, but already well past a human's lifetime. "You see, I lost my parents to vampire hunters. Back then there was no truce between us vampires and them, so they hunted us whenever they could find us. I couldn't find enough blood on my own. And, Evon, you can probably guess what happens when you don't get enough blood for too long." Everyone was still eating, though the mood was a bit more serious as a whole. As Mary was the only one of Mathias' friends that had a sad past. "After what felt like years, Mathias came to me. At first I attacked him, thinking he was out to get me. But of course he was stronger, so he let me use up my energy before talking to me. He didn't see a serial killer, but a girl that was lost. So he took me in." Mary then smiled at Evon, going back to her childish manners. "But don't worry~ I was also introduced to everyone else later that year. Because of them I've learned to just accept who I am, rather than longing for the maturity I will probably never attain."
