While hearing out the conversation between Kain and Tia, Miles was busy sucking down on some brandy until the conversation ended with Kain looking like he was about to have a fit, getting out of the water and leaving. Miles felt it was better for Tia to handle the situation than him for the risk of starting inner conflict in the HQ. 

Now with that out of the way, Miles placed the drink on the side to continue the conversation [color=blue]Yeah uh...as I was saying I was wanting to get to know you a bit more and learn a bit about you backgr-[/color]

Miles paused for a moment from what Tia said. Okay....who the fuck is Shiver!? this happened yet again, someone else have interfered with his business with Tia now that she was about to leave in a moment. Ain't this about a bitch! Now he had to wait again because of another issue that's popped up. before he was to snap out verbally, Miles spoke up calmly on the outside. [color=blue]Is everything ok? who is Shiver? do you want me to just meet you later?[/color] She had better say 'no we can continue our convo' but from what's going on, if they were to continue talking now, there's a chance someone else will find a way to get in between them.

Deep in the lab, with static and flashing lights coming from a dim lighted back room. There being a table with several gadgets, tools, circuit boards, wires hanging from above while this man who seemed to be working on something important, stopped upon hearing his watch alarm go off. Sliding his goggles, Rey looked at the time [color=f26522]Damn...if only you were working correctly earlier, I could've used you during the raid. *sigh* because of the break in and the attack, I'll have to totally upgrade the entire security system. What's the use of having an HQ if it can't be defended properly. I'll have to report to Tia soon and introduce her to the plasma ray. a new security weapon along with the other plans I have...hopefully they will take me serious this time. Heroes need help too.[/color] 

Rey talked to himself for a moment, which is a habit he has and placed the tools o the table along with the goggles to leave the lab and grab a snack. It's been some time since he's spoken to Tia, Evergreen and any others he usually have contact with. he headed out to check the condition of the rest of the HQ to think of where to place other security measures so to not have to go through the ambush again.
