Amelia took a deep breath then exhaled before speaking.

Once he is where she indicates the Doc slides Sarah into the tunnel like ring and steps around to the other end of the complex almost alien looking machine.

A throbbing pulse of sound is the first sign that the machine is starting then fog drifts out across the floor of either side of the ring. This is followed moments later by gurgling sounds as bubbling fluids rush through clear pipes running through a cluster at the top of the device. Three minutes after it all began there is a loud Ding of a bell
