I like your angle, but the handmade recurve is a touch too far. Unless your group has an expert proficient in wood work or specifically bows - that recurve is scavenged. Teeth and nails are a nice touch.

Love the details, however, [b]way[/b] too many NPC's. The addition of Gunther's Character Joe, his son and daughter make for a crowd.

Awesome. Just [i]very[/i] long. I admittedly skim read the background, simply because I got the feeling it was a self portrait of sorts, and I am confident in your ability to recall and slightly alter your experience. So shorten to your discretion, or at least separate essential and extra information.

Another point, I respect the military past, but the assault vest with the addition of a firearm for all three is a push. I will concede to two vests and three firearms in consideration of his professions past and present. The bayonet is not an issue.
