Echo looked at the woman for a moment, letting his two-headed 'friend' continue ahead of him. He didn't sense any hostility coming from her, rather he sensed her concern. but he didn't know what she was concerned about. He slowly approached the woman, tilting his head slightly in a puzzled manner. Perhaps he should inform his Mother of this. How? A howl, of course. And so, he howled toward the way he came. His call echoing through the cavern, hoping that his mother would hear him. --- Alya listened intently at the thumping sound as it got louder and deeper. Although it had taken her awhile to realize it, she figured out that it was a heartbeat. Perhaps the cave was the heart itself? 'Rilana, I just realized that this sound... Is a heartbeat. And it's coming from the central..tunnel.' She mindspoke to her Fey companion. Of course, it was a little late. Because the sound had stopped entirely before the rustling of plant growth filled her ears, a purple moss flooded the path they came through. The half-elf turned to see the rampaging mass. She turned her gaze back to the tunnel path she pointed out, 'Hurry!' She echoed, pulling at Rilana's arm to make her follow. Among the noise of plants, she heard a faint howl echoing out from somewhere in the cavern. She knew it was Echo, but there was no way she could get to him or vice-versa. 'Echo's found something..' She thought outwardly, but now was not the time to worry about that. They needed to keep moving or they'll get swallowed by a massive plant.
