Alex arrived at the practice filed just in time to see the band was lining up into formation. Alex walked over to the bleachers and took one shot. He walked to the other side and took another shot. Alex checked the shots and nodded saying, "Not bad at all." He saw the band director Mr. Hollins standing on the track. Alex approached him as Mr. Hollins shouted to the drum major Angela Maracotti, "All-right get 'em in position for the flying v followed into a pinwheel right two." Alex said, "Hey Mr. H." Hollins turned to Alex and said, "Ahh hi Alex. How are things going?" Alex replied, "Considering it's the first day of school and I haven't gotten into trouble with my camera yet not bad." Hollins chuckled and said, "Well the day is young." Alex replied, "True. Hey is it okay if I go on the field for about 10 minutes and got some action shots in the formation." Hollins said, "Sure just stay out of the way as always. These kids are still a little iffy on the routine for our home opener on Friday." Alex replied, "You got it Mr. H." With that Alex was on the field and taking as many shots from as many angles as he could get. Then he got the one shot he wanted a shot of Angela just by herself. This was the shot that Alex would do anything for. Alex had a Godzilla sized crush on Angela but there was only one issue Angela was dating Mike Pierson. Mike was the starting left tackle for the Varsity Team and as it stood now on his way to the University of Wisconsin on a full ride. Alex knew Mike through Alex's older brother Bill and they got along, but Alex always thought Angela could do better with someone else...like him. Alex started to head back to the building and waved to Mr. H as he walked away. Mr. H waved back with a smile. As Alex approached the building he saw no one else was around and took a long look at the picture of Angela. He smiled and said, "Bye Gorgeous." Alex deleted the picture and then headed to the Yearbook staff room where he would upload the pictures for him and Mrs. Becker to review.
