Lilith didn't want to hurt the child anymore, so she knew she had to be frank with her. She squatted down so she was looking up at Clover and squeezed her hands. "Listen...I don't think you're going to like this adventure very much. You see, the guild is very old and is falling apart, and us humans aren't very good at surviving in the wilderness without shelter. We're going on this quest so we can get lumber from the woodsman so we can rebuild the guild so it doesn't collapse on us. The ceiling and beams are already giving out. Not only that, but I don't think we'll be able to talk it out with whatever is giving the woodsman and his family trouble...have you sensed the unease in the forest lately? My guess is that whatever has been causing is the one we'll have to confront."
