Amelia had just finished healing the last of the staff that had been injured by Enchantress's assault group and she still felt fully charged. She always felt this way after having to heal so many in so short a period.

She looked out of her door and saw her nurses busy cleaning up the triage area.

[color=00CC66]"Could you please see that the chamber is cleaned, laundry cleared and a disinfectant."[/color] She asked in a soft soothing tone.

[b]"Of course Doctor"[/b] answered Kyle her head nurse looking up.

Evergreen nods shyly to her subordinate [color=00CC66]"Thanks, I'm stepping out to relax but remaining on base"[/color]

Just as Amelia finishes speaking with Kyle Mindy her youngest nurse trips on a pile of spilled bandages. The beautiful red headed doctor does a smooth slide split gliding six feet away and catching the startled young woman a foot off the floor.

[b]"You...you caught me?"[/b] said the short haired brunette 

[color=00CC66]"Either that is true or we are being inappropriate as we display affection"[/color] purs Amelia as she helps Mindy stand stand.

It's difficult for the doc to leave the puzzled young woman without giggling but she does as she heads to her quarters

It was while being circumspect that it occurred to Drifter that she still hadn't mastered fitting in and the troubling conclusion was it might be a permanent condition.

Environment was a major factor in development and perspective and her environmental awareness was beyond the comprehension of perhaps everyone on earth. Her perception saw the world three dimensionally; sure to her there was an up, a down, a left, a right, a front, a back and variations of all combined. There was only the limitation of air that confined to the world and if she could solve that limitation in an unknown length of time she could walk on the planets of Sol.

Humanity and most of the meta surrounding her lived lives fettered by gravity to the world of their birth. They would never gaze down on a world without limit, a world so small, never gaze into the heart of one of the primal elemental forces that grant life. How could she expect them to understand if they could not see and how could she understand people that in comparison were blind?

She thought before realizing because she didn't understand them then she'd only know if she asked them or if they told her; trouble was that was also uncertain.
