[@alexfangtalon] My suggestion for you is to organize personality elements. Since you're going gray, your character probably has a mysterious/dark nature to them. That can be one paragraph in itself. Their teen angst. Another paragraph can be how people see them, how they come across to others. Like their good traits maybe? And the last paragraph can be what makes them ugly. The negative. 

I kinda just think of the main terms that relate to my character and try to imagine how one trait appears to others. Like Nessa being a whimsical flower girl - I can go into why she's like that, and what that exactly means: ie. Twirling, always smiling, full of life and color.
