From his sources and the information he had gathered from the citizens, it was the same one that they were complaining about from awhile back. According to what his sources had informed him and him tracking the suspect down, that the individual had been stealing items from shop merchants then turning around to sell them for half the price they were asking for. This caused many merchants to become very upset to the point they petitioned toward the queen to do something about it. In response, she appointed the matter to her Imperial Guard and entrusted her most trusted Commander of Imperial Defenses Rhadamanthus to handle the situation while she worked on foreign relations to try to ease the tensions between nations in the war that had broke out not too long ago. Rhadamanthus was rather large figure who wore golden flame colored armor that covered his entire body except for his neck and head. He had sterling silver shine hair that flowed down his backside. He was a rather curious fellow who tend to question around when he saw a problem arise. Despite his poor attitude from having to deal with every domestic dispute, his attitude he shown toward those as long as they were honest toward him was one that was professional. The one trait that people admired most about the man is that he was absolutely honest never lying about anything. This sometimes played at odds against him since it strained the relationship he had with his son. Nonetheless, he had a code to always be truthful and he expected those who confronted him to do the same. There was nothing he hated more than a liar. Liars tend to get on his bad side which he rather liked to conceal from public. The cities were packed as people walked from building to building examining what was being sold at the markets. He was just doing his ordinary patrol while keeping a look out for the thief suspect when he saw his men left their posts. A bit aggravated he approached the situation with an attitude that was meant to be bold and discipline the soldiers for their slacking off or that is how he saw it. His opinion of his soldiers soon changed when his eyes widened in concern when he saw a werewolf, Nekrian and also a girl that were involved in an argument. The man made his way respectfully through the crowd not getting hot under the collar or knocking people down trying to avoid getting too much in hurry as he approached the group. He then heard the girl scream which lured him in even further where he ordered his soldiers to stand aside. "Stand down, men. I will investigate this matter myself." He said as his moved aside to allow him to pass by. When he saw the werewolf his hand suddenly went onto the handle of his sword. He remembered killing such beasts in the past though this one struck him as odd. Despite his nickname Wolfslayer he didn't bring himself to draw his sword. Instead he approached the group and started to ask questions where he turned toward Alice first. He remembered Alice vaguely, but even though not very well it was enough to make him remember how disrespectful his arrogant son was to her. He was a bit struck by surprise to find her intermingled with trouble. She usually kept her nose clean which is one trait he respected about her the most. He knew by the whimpering and fear that it was the same voice he had heard earlier. Before he turned his attention toward the other two individuals involved he concentrated his attention on Aiice for a moment then asked her concerned for her safety, "Are you okay, Alice? I was patrolling the capital then I suddenly heard an argument and you scream which drew my attention over here." He answered as he offered her his hand to help her onto her feet. He then turned his attention toward the werewolf which made his eyes turn fierce and serious. He refrained from making any accusations as he focused his attention on Fenrir. His hand never left the handle of his blade as he gripped it as a precautionary measure. Most people knew he was famous for his blinding strikes where he could draw his sword so fast and sheathe it was as if it never left his sheathe in the first place. The look in his eyes never changed, but then after examining the situation thoroughly and seeing that there was also a Nekrian involved though he couldn't really see his face he inquired toward the werewolf, but if the werewolf would provoke or try to attack him he would draw Silvance which would end in a bloody mess. Violence was one thing he wanted to avert where he drew the conclusion that this particular werewolf unlike the others wasn't very hostile. His men remained on guard a bit nervous as their hands started to shake a little as they placed their hands on their weapons. Shaking his head as he peered one eye over toward them, "Relax men, I doubt he intends to harm anyone. And if he did he'd find his essence etched onto my blade. Remain alert but do not draw your weapons." When he heard Fenrir's taunt it didn't phase him. Fenrir's taunt got no negative response out of him where he shook his head as if Fenrir looked like an idiot, "His words mean nothing. This one is all bark and no bite and no I'm not trying to provoke. Just trying to maintain the order in this city." He paused for a moment as he pointed in the direction of the part of the city that was less regulated. "If you want to cause problems in the capital then I suggest you go to the lower district. It is less regulated and is often where we send our troublemakers off to." Approaching the individual he couldn't see the face of, he had gotten a clearer appearance of the individual where he signaled toward his men. "Seems we found our thief." Rhadamanthus said as he ordered his men to fall into the situation. He looked over toward the werewolf, "That will be enough punishment for that whelp. Though I don't feel sorry at all for his thieving ways he still has to face the judge." He said toward Fenrir in a tone that gave the impression that Fenrir should let them handle the Nekrian. Rhadmanthus and his men arrested the Nekrian forcing him on the ground hard enough to eat dirt. The Nekrian grimaced as they slapped the shackles on his wrist after they pinned his arms behind his back. "Seems you never learn do you, Ahlek?" Rhadamanthus questioned toward the Nekrian who tried to spit in his face, but missed as Rhadamanthus grinned stepping aside his spit. He then focused his attention toward the werewolf as his men took the Nekrian away into custody. Something about the werewolf prevented him from drawing his sword and slaying it. He didn't know what it was, but he felt a different aura from this werewolf. Since he was a Mahzok demon, he could sense negative intentions and negative energy released by beings with ill intent, but this werewolf in front of him displaced neither. Shaking his head as he turned away to follow his men he worded toward the werewolf, "A piece of advice I would give you is to avoid trouble. Some officials in this capital aren't as lenient as I am. Let that be a warning toward you, werewolf." With that he walked away with his men who had the Nekrian in custody. Turning back for a moment he asked toward Alice once again if she was fine. The fact she screamed hysterically like that still weighed heavily on his attention like an anvil.
