Wait, we can make nations? I call forth for you great spirit of Saqqaur guide my hands on this holy quest to annihilate the heretics. I'm lovin it. (Coca-Cola please give me free shit.)
The nation of Chick-fil-A will not stand for such blamsphomy! HAIL THE COW! --- Here it is! The Bio is a somewhat WIP, but I wanted to put something up. Everything else is pretty much done. Purposely did not go into her experince with the Virginian-Maryland War (hint hint, source of the dead looking left eye?), so that this may be fleshed out more in the actual story. A somewhat greenhorn pilot with a suspiciously familiar name!
"First time I saw a jet, I shot it down..." Name: Ava Walker Age: 19 Height: 5'5 Weight: 110 Pilot Class: Blood Wing Nationality: American (Of the state of Virginia) Bio: Ava was born in the farmlands of Virginia, to a small family of pilots. Her father was a crop duster for her small town while her mother was a member of the Virginian Air Guard. Her parents past much of their love of aviation on to her, however, her love of adventure sprang from her Grandfather. He was an old, well traveled man who had settled down in the old state of the union to live the rest of his life in peace. Ava spent many evenings listening to her grandfather tell of his adventures around the country and the world. From the savagery of Texas to the chaos in Europe, Ava learned many things from her Grandfather. When she came of age at 15, she took over her mother's role as a member the Air Guard, rather unwillingly. The stories her Grandfather had told and tempted Ava too much, and now she too longed to go adventuring across the world. Her parents wanted nothing of it, especially her mother. At one point after Ava's graduation from Virginia's Air Academy, did her mother warn her that she would soon see for herself the brutality of the outside world. And she did, not but two weeks after officially graduating and becoming a member of the Air Guard did Maryland invade from the north, looking to reclaim the "Capital" of the old union from Virginia, who currently occupied D.C. At first, it was swift and brutal, with much help from the mercenary groups of the west. However, their advance hit a brick wall when they pushed further inland towards the Appalachians. The Mountain Men of many generations easily waged a successful guerrilla war against the invaders, constantly nipping and wearing them away as they tried to make the trek through the mountains towards Richmond, the capital city. Virginia's Air Guard were also successful at gaining control of the skies, thanks to their technological advantages and skills from the many airbases in the State. Ava saw her first dogfights here, saw what war could do, and most importantly of all.... Learned of a young, legendary pilot. The Red Baroness. A young, rising star in Europe, naming herself after the legendary pilot of centuries old. This Baroness was an inspiration to Ava, to keep fighting, to try to get as good as her some day. When the war ended, Ava resolved to leave her home state and go track down the Baroness, to meet her, to hopefully learn from her. Now nineteen and a proven pilot, her mother couldn't say no. Thus, Ava left, taking her family's plane and her gear towards Europe to finally meet this famed pilot. And low and behold, the Baroness was hiring! What could possibly go wrong for Ava? Oh... and one more thing.... Don't ask about the eye. Other: When not in her airplane and in unfamiliar territory, she keeps an automatic rifle with her, usually stored in the fuselage as other cargo is. The original was designed and produced by North Carolina, and thanks to its basic, rugged design and decent firepower, became an AK-47 of aircraft for mercs and small nations alike. When the Commonwealth of Virginia aquired its P-77As for its air force, they were disappointed by this basic aircraft, so their engineers modified it heavily. This created a unique variant of the P-77, only used by Virginian Air Guard currently. The main difference of the E compared to the other versions is the performance of the engine and maneuverability. The engineers upgraded the engine to a much more powerful version with large, twin turboprops to massively increase the aircraft's top speed, acceleration, and climb rate. The gulled the wings to compensate for the larger propeller, much like the Corsairs of World War II, which unintentionally increased its turn speed greatly as well. While these upgrades made the plane unsurprisingly more expensive, it proved to be well worth it later. With its four 20mm M3 cannons, 3000lb bomb carrying capacity, and amazing speed/climb rate, the Dartfire has proven to be a very capable aircraft. However, it's upgraded engine is somewhat prone to overheating, and when carrying a full bombload, its performance is heavily lowered. Ava's particular Dartfire also has some minor modifications, like amphibious landing gear and a small luggage bay near the tale. This adds wait, making Ava's Dartfire somewhat under perform in comparison to the regular one, in exchange for making it practical for long range travel on its own. Plane Type: Turboprop Multirole Fighter Weapons Descriptions: x4 20mm autocannons, slower fire rate of miniguns, but much more accurate. x10 hardpoints for a variety of weapons ranging from air to air missiles to gunpods. Can be changed out based on the needs of the mission. Weaknesses: The modifications that made the P-77 go from good to great also exasperated some weaknesses as well. The larger engine meant large fuel tanks to feed said engine, thus the plane is more vulnerable to fire damage. The Dartfire is a hornet of an aircraft. Fast and nimble, stings very, very hard, but can't soak up a whole lot of heavy damage. Anything big like autocannons or heavy missiles could bring it down with only a few tries. On top of all that, Ava's modifications to turn a short range fighter into a plane to travel the world has made the aircraft heavier. While this slightly boosts its dive rate, it has had negative affects on its climb rate. Not completely nullifying its fast climb speed, but holds the plane back from its true potential.
