Akane and Yuki were both out fighting and leaving them though. x] Kushiami, Hanami and Kaede did an excellent job protecting her from my point of view. And none of them are really used to protecting someone, two of them are extremely battle oriented and the other is... a priestess...

Now, if Mizuki didn't get to pick her protectors lol it might be a different story
