PM Me if you are interested in starting a Roleplay with me! Everyone who replies to this thread didn't listen. About Me I am a 30 year old woman from America. I have been Roleplaying for... damn, probably about 20 years. I got started in AOL chatrooms back when AOL was a program for dialup that came on CDs delivered in the snail-mail. I have been through the spectrum of style and post length through my years, and have settled comfortably in a descriptive prose semi/para range for the most part. I like to focus on not only visual details, but sensory details as well. Rules & Preferences - I play both male and female characters comfortably - I'm looking for at least one paragraph, even if there's short-form dialogue going on. - I can promise at least one Post a day. I hope for the same. I understand bad days happen, though, so I expect some leniency and understanding if either of us misses a day or two. - I absolutely prefer Rping in PMs on this site, with a separate OOC PM for discussing what is going on, as well as other stuff. My Preferred Genres >Fantasy Survival Apocalypse (Anything But Zombies. Super super super overdone!) Post-Apocalypse (See above.) Sub-genres: Slice of Life Modern Romance Fandoms I prefer Original Characters and Plots, but sometimes it's nice to already have a World made for you! I do not play cannon characters, but I love these worlds and universes and I would be happy to play within them! I am not a lore expert on these! I just like them!
>The Witcher >The Librarian(s) The Long Dark The Elder Scrolls (More added when I think of them!)
Premade Plots/Starter Prompts Here's a few ideas I'd like to do! >Greened ones are ones I really want to do! (Not Limited to these, we can come up with our own story!) All Plots are always available and I don't mind doing the same one with multiple people! You don't have to ask if one or another is taken! >The Charmed Dragon You are a sorcerer/ess hired by the Lord of a Kingdom to get rid of a Dragon that has settled in a valley several years now. The problem isn't that the Dragon is causing trouble - it is that the beast is gaining a following. No arrow or blade has worked yet, so the Lord has turned to Magic... OR You're a dragon who's made a nice situation for yourself in a little valley. The villagers pay you tribute, and you keep the valley free of trouble. They've even started referring to you as their Lord. Now if only that pesky human lord would stop sending his men after you. Today, though, it's not the usual metal clad halfwit... The good people of the land steer clear of them and their territories for fear of being caught in the frequent chest to chest brawls, which they can often be seen engaging in from across the farm fields or pastures bordering the forests they roam. However, this image gets shattered as someone encounters one - clothed and speaking common... And it is still alive. It sat abandoned until a new owner hired a couple people to fix it back up into working order. Whatever happened long ago surely couldn't happen again, right...? Detail the struggles of the unprepared- lighting fires, finding food, minding the weather and environment, dealing with wildlife, dealing with each other, and slowly making it back to civilization. He lived recklessly through his youth until he was struck by lightning at sea. The ship was fine, but he was never the same. He shut himself off from the world in the family estate, and receded further as he became his family's last living member. Someone needs to pull Allen out of his living grave, but that would mean learning his family's secret... (More to come as I think of them)
Plot? Nope. Just Mole.
Writing Examples (Not examples of post length!)
The rhythmic beeping and roar of heavy machinery drifted muffled through the small portable's walls. Fake wood-paneled walls enhanced the stuffy heat the fan was working hard to disperse. A radio by the door quietly played country music interspersed with commercials trying to sell cars with demonic voices. Well- that's what she though it sounded like. Hannah sat at the desk, copying down numbers from a spreadsheet on a laptop. Her father insisted on hand written hard-copies of everything. She had tried to just print out the digital versions, but he would have none of that. 'Handwriting has more soul'. He was lucky she could even read his handwriting, no one else could. Suddenly she felt dizzy. She had to put the pen down and rest her head in her hand, eyes screwed shut. She had been getting dizzy-spells ever since they set up the office on site. Her father had even called a professional in to check for gas leaks, but found nothing. He didn't even wait for said professional to leave before asking bluntly if she was 'on her time'. If she didn't already have her face in her palm...

The evening forest was beautiful. Long shadows stretched on forever as the sun drooped low and flowed through the multitude of pine tree trunks. The warm light turned the needle blanketed ground into a golden sea, still as if it were caught in the moment of a photograph. He tensed slightly as Courtney's head rested on his shoulder. Before he could react any other way, her head shot back up with that dreading question. "Well, we could jump." The wall was at least twice Trip's apparent height. Hitting the ground looked like a doable, but possibly painful affair for one's legs. "Or, y'know, could take the ladder," He nodded back towards the other side of the wall. Not far down, a wood platform spanned the three heights, going flush with the lowest. If someone had just scaled the wall, they would've immediately been able to continue on to a lattice of monkey-bars along the course. Ladders lead to the ground on either side of the platform should anyone fail the monkey-bars...

"Three coppers says I can guess what brings yeh to Gratbough," She said, leaning back on the bar. The man considered it, and gave her a nod and his full attention. She studied him, not that she hadn't already, and offered her guess. "You're a merchant of some fine goods, traveling the artisan road." The man sipped his mead, and set it down. "I live 'ere, and manage a boarding house." He tapped the bar in front of him. Val grimaced at her poor guess. She set the coins down in front of the man with a sigh, "Must be a good business." "Aye, turns a decent profit," He counted his winnings even though the amount was obvious, then slid a coin back towards her. "Get yourself a drink, lass." She took the coin back and muttered, "Thanks, good sir..." She resigned to spend the night in an alley. As she pushed herself up off the bar and walked away, the man caught her hand. "Hold it now. How abouts you give us a kiss and we'll forget the whole thing?" He offered, putting on what he imagined must've been a charming smile, "Or, a girl like you's worth a silver a pound at the boarding house, if you've nowhere to stay tonight..." A chill went through her innards. So that's why his 'Boarding House' was so profitable. His smile faded slightly as she tried to pull her hand away, "You're lookin' for coin, aren't you?" She knew how to pick em, didn't she.
Please shoot me a PM if you're interested, and we'll see what we can cook up! Seriously, PM. PM me. It's just going to end up in PMs anyway.
