Age: 22

Personality: Mat would at first seem like someone with a dark humor mindset and would actually seem like that kind of person unless he opens up at all.  He has no decency towards witches but will make small talk with them as he's trying to murder them (he claims it helps distract them).  In reality though Mat is completely broken on the inside and is trying to avoid remembering his past.

History:
Mat has an elusive background that he reveals to only those he trusts (which is at this point no one at all).  Mat was born to a hunter family, but he never got to be with his mother as she died from child birth.  Despite the loss his father trained him from his first days in the art of hunting.  Mat has stabbed, burned, decapitated, and tortured lots of witches throughout his life with his dad.  While the father-son relationship may seem awkward on the outside, the two were inseparable and Mat showed true potential for being a great hunter.

At the age of sixteen, Mat's father suddenly disappeared one night.  Mat searched for him for days but could never find him.  Defeated, he decided to return to his first home where his mother was buried in the backyard.  Mat spent one night there and when he woke up he went outside.  Next to his mother's grave Mat saw his father's head next to it staring up at him.  A note was left reading: [i]Just a small gift for the young hunter.  Have fun![/i]  Mat was never able to find the witch that murdered his father but he remembers her everytime he kills a witch, and he hopes one day that he may find her.

Signature Weapon: His black painted spear.  Mat's always figured that he would rather not get up close and personal with witches and would rather just kill them from far away.

Things they look for in a partner: Preferably one who's honest and won't stab him in the back.  Attractive and nice would assist as well.

Pets/Familiars: None.

Age: 38

Personality: Conra is a very patient man who doesn't let his temper get the best of him.  He is confident but not cocky in his skill of hunting.  Conra is a writer and researches ask he can while hunting.  His humor, if it ever comes out, is very dry and dark.

History: Conra was introduced to the supernatural world in his own hard way.  At the age of twenty, Conra had a girlfriend and was studying in college for literature.  In the town several murders had suddenly occurred within a single month and were described as a “strange case”.  All the while, his girlfriend seemed unconcerned about it all.  Then one night, she came before Conra with a proposition.  She claimed that she was given powers and was a creature of the night and could bestow them to Conra to join her.  Conra in return asked if she committed the murders and she confirmed it.  His answer to her was separating her head from her body.  Soon after, Conra met with hunters and was inducted into the group.

Conra Mandra is a unique hunter of sorts, where instead of hunting and murdering supernatural all the time, he is instead writing his own book on how to hunt and murder supernatural.  The book is an encyclopedia of sorts, with also several commentaries on some of the various species he had recorded.  Conra is quite close to finishing his first volume rather soon, and hopes to get it mass produced and spread around to all the other hunters in the world.

Recently, he has picked up a pupil named Arid who he decided to bring along on his hunts while he updates his own book on the art of hunting witches and in doing so is traveling to the Witch’s Paradise.

Signature Weapon: The Crossbow with various bolts for particular tasks.

Things they look for in a partner: He’s not really into having a relationship due to his history.

Age: 18

Personality: Arid is a nice, innocent soul and is new to the hunting world.  He’s eager to learn but is very timid around others.  While he does try his best Arid does seem to easily manage screwing something up and just always not getting it right.  

History: Arid’s life was an actual happy one for the majority of his life.  While of course it had its bumps and moments, the worst Arid had to worry about was what his future career was going to be.  It ended the day he found his two parents savagely murdered in their room.  Several hunters arrived and questioned Arid about the murder, but soon the boy caught on.  He eventually convinced them to allow them to join them so that he could do his best to stop this from happening to anyone else.

While meeting other hunters Arid came across an older hunter named Conra who has decided to tutor Arid in the ways of hunting and murdering supernatural and has taken him on several hunts already (none of them witch hunts yet).

Signature Weapon: Katana blade

Things they look for in a partner: Really social, pretty, and captivating.
