[@Lauder] What's that old saying? It's easier to catch flies with honey than vinegar? Maire's main problem with Eliz is just that. If you CAN ally with a clan then you should. Allies tend to do more for each other than terrified vassals. Obviously, if another clan were to attack ours then we would need to punish them. And I'm sure some clans would only respond to violence. However, if another clan is open to being loyal allies with Clan Aonghus then why destroy them at all?
