[@ACHTUNG] I've been mulling over this all day, but to put it in the nicest way possible... no, overthinking the 'how' for why a character can achieve their nominal base ability does not pay in a crossover. It wastes time to focus on why exactly a character can achieve something that is perfectly in-line with their given abilities and the abilities of the rest of the cast. They can do it, logistics only comes up if it's dramatically appropriate, let's move on. This is not supposed to be a perfectly logical proof of something. So when it comes to using thinking about scenarios as entertainment: by all means think, but please avoid posting ridiculously anal-retentive arguments about irrelevant information.
