Sven was a little caught off guard when things lit up. All sorts of different voices started speaking this time, and he listened to every one of them intently. It's not like he knew the location of the others, nor did they know his. Sven wasn't exactly about to give his up so soon either. Just because they were genetically mutated, doesn't mean they weren't going to hold a threat against him. Couldn't exactly be too sure that the government officials were tapping into the mind speak just as they were talking. He had heard about earlier instances were some hunters were pulling off stunts that seemed almost inhuman. Just the sort of things that Sven pulled off. A cloud of smoke was blown from Sven's mouth as it quickly scurried off and got carried away by the light wind some place. He inspected what he could of the people that were talking, trying to grasp as much of them as he could. They sounded either snarky, too friendly or a little too gung ho for his liking. He didn't like a lot of people all that much anyway. "Don't jump the gun, kid. Let's wait a moment.." Sven had said while looking back at Aksel with a serious look upon his face. Sven had known that Aksel could hear it too, so he stood there in silence without moving, hearing the last of what everyone had to say. It wasn't very much like him to give away info, or meet with someone he didn't know on a regular basis. He already had a companion, why would he need anyone else? *A safe place? Ha. Skip the introductions. I'm usually on the move, not sure where I am...* It wasn't a great idea to meet with them, but it sure wasn't a horrible one either. He might have to hear more of their story and gain some trust before anything like that happens. Sven was usually skeptical, and that's one of the skills he's thankful to have. Sven turned his body over to face Aksel for a second with a short pause before speaking. "What do you think, Aksel?"
