I would like to pint out btw when i eventually make the RP i would like people to use the ranks i gave them. new people will be Privates while those who ive given ranks to should be that rank. Only I, @Fantasy Shadows and @Krinos Solstice may give promotions.

I'll give a Character sheet later so you can have an idea of the RP

@Kurai Assassin Hey, if we're gonna have IC ranks, I wanna call Captain of the Color Guard -- though I honestly don't know if that'd fit how I'm gonna play.... Cheshire should be...hm, most armies don't really use drummers/bugleists (sp?) anymore, but...perhaps Drum Major?

Why are we using Marine ranks? O.o And I totally enlisted as an officer, not a footsoldier. *kicks* =P

Additionally, Commander is not the top rank for most things. You want General or Admiral. Commander is one step higher than Lieutenant, and lower than Captain. Unless you say Commander in Chief, which is a little different.

@shylarahYou don't need to be a drum major or even a drummer to carry a drum into battle. Use the drum as your weapon.

Because this is a made up Military Unit im pulling from the Two Forces my family has been involved in. The Royal Marines and the British Army (/Royal Signals.) and personally i prefer commander because Commanders can still be field soldiers where as Generals and Admirals are mainly desk jobs

Also Colour Sergeant is actually a rank in the British Military, its equivalent to The Americans Tech Sargent (dont quote me on that)

Just so all the great soldiers (and Clocktower because one of us has to play the priest. World of Warcraft reference again im a huge nerd) know im making this into a proper RP. the OOC will be up either later tonight or about 4 in the afternoon british time tomorrow. Ill explain a mass majority in the OOC post so dont fret if i dont tell you a lot.
