Irvine stood watching through his shadow hood as one by one students showed off their abilities. There were those that wanted to show brutality, some that just wanted to introduce themselves and give a basic display. A mixture of occurrences from a mixture of creatures all for their mixed up audience. It was quite the impressive display, for the most part, it almost made Irvine feel completely out of place. Eventually the confident numbers drew thin and it was getting close to people being volunteered instead of volunteering. But it was a simple enough to procedure to endure, watching others have their moments in the spot light. It took sometime but it eventually dawned on Irvine, he had to do this too. The time had come as Irvine took a less than confident step forward volunteering to go next, he raised his head slightly just enough to peer at the students from under his hood before stepping into the training room. He faced the other students as he tried to steady his own breathing. He nervously reached up and pulled the hood off revealing himself fully for the first time since all of this had begun. Irvine merely stared them down for a moment, though the fidgeting from his hands was evident of some attempt to compose himself. As he did so, his shadow, cast behind him slowly began to creep back up over him. Irvine quickly shook it loose as he looked back. "Back off!" he barked as he turned back to face the audience of students. "I-Irv-..." The boy sighed as he struggled to speak to normal people but not his own shadow. He glanced to his side and his shadow began to take form until eventually the shadows had morphed themselves into a replica of Irvine. "Irvine Code." The shadow created Irvine even mimicked his lip movements. "Though, feel free to call me Shade. That is what those that do not understand me tend to call me. How can they understand me? When I don't?" Irvine chose not to bother with the helmet, who the hell wanted to see a room full of back alleys anyway. "I can manipulate the darkness. I can shape it, morph it to my will. It can copy me..." The shadow creation ran off to the side before disappearing. "Or do something entirely different." Irvine was no longer facing the students simply staring at the ground. He thought of leaving the room but then remembered. Fumbling the leather straps Irvine presented the plain metal hilt. "This is the Shadow Hilt. Anyone who I end up training with are likely to see what it's for." The idea of unlimited power would serve greatly to the Shadow Hilt, Irvine would be able to create immense weapons. "I don't consider my abilities to be anything grand, after all, everyone has a weakness..." Irvine glanced over to Shekemim then to kong, as his shadow hood quickly raced and covered Irvine's face. "Being cocky about your power, is pointless in a room filled with it." His statement was completely void of any emotional stance, he wasn't attempting to anger or provoke, simply stating. Having finished his piece, Irvine stepped out of the training room and leaned against a wall giving a long, deep sigh. It had been the most he'd spoken in a long time, even if most of what he said was to the floor and not the audience.
