Par snarled as he realized that the enemy team not only outnumbered them, but had good strategy! However, the enemy's heavy fighter seemed to be taking a gamble in rushing the Machinist's position. Thankfully, the young man had restocked his Mana Grenades, and quickly threw one at the big guy, fully expecting him to try and catch it, either to throw it back, or swat it away. This would give Par the opportunity to take up his Sniper Rifle again, aim at the enemy's [i]eye[/i], and shoot a Mana bullet/bolt at it!

He briefly wondered: Why do the CMAS want us dead or [i]alive[/i]? Once that was done, and should the enemy still be in any condition to continue his rush, Par would then slowly, still crouching, walk backwards towards another rock formation where he can simultaneously protect himself from the crossbowman and keep taking potshots at the heavy guy.
