INERTIA and SHIVER

Tia woke up with Miles arms around her and she turned over, smiled, then phased out of the bed and went to take a shower. She had work to do and no time to sleep in late. She let him sleep and she went to her office. She looked up at the TV hanging on the wall of her office and she saw Jess saving a car full of people and then after that she saw Shiver teleporting an ambulance out of the stopped traffice, presumably to a hospital. She smiled and made a mental note to tell them what a good job they are doing.

Tia got news on a group of low level metas that were causing havoc in the streets in the south side of the city. She decided to send Omega and have him check it out. She sent him the coordinates and told him to observe and see what they were up to but to call before engaging. About three hours later his com started giving off emergency vitals dropping signals. Tia yelled for Shiver who immediately teleported to him. She threw the meta closest into the side of a building and froze the others that were close by. Shiver grabbed Omega's hand and teleported into the medical bay at HQ. They had been alerted by the same distress signal and were on standby with a gurney. 

Shiver went in with the medical team. [color=fff79a]"Michael? Can you hear me?"[/color] She called to him. The nurse tried to butt in between her and Omega and Shiver pushed back and the nurse hit one of the nearby machines. [color=fff79a]"Lady don't piss me off! I'm in a mood right now. Just save him."[/color] The doctor looked at her and said, [color=8493ca]"I need you to wait so we can help him. Outside, now!"[/color] Shiver thought twice but she leaned forward and kissed Omega's forehead and whispered something to him. 

Shiver went to Tia's office. [color=fff79a]"We have to assemble the team. There were at least 50 of them and they were fast and he walked into an ambush!" [/color]

Tia called everyone in and told them what happened. [color=39b54a]"Omega was on an observation only assignment and now he is in critical condition. All we know is our intel was wrong on this one and we need to take care of this now. There are upwards of 40 of them we believe. They were supposed to be low level metas but we dont think that now. Pixie you stay with Jess/Drifter. Miles and Ro'kun will pair up. I'll be with Shiver.  Okay, everyone grab someone's hands. Shiver take us in."[/color] Shiver grabbed two hands and teleported them all to the site where she had found Omega.
