[@ProPro] Oh, most definitely! He'd probably annoy the shit out of you just by being in the room because his aura alone just says "I know you think I think I'm smarter than you because I am" and that's without talking to him. Oh, he'll be civil, why I didn't have him say all of that ICly, because he knows it won't get them anywhere. So yeah, he may never say enough to get you pissed off but it kind of doesn't matter when you can instantly tell that he just doesn't quite give a shit about you and will quite quickly deconstruct and cut down your belief system simply because you deigned to say it out loud. So yeah, he can be an ass-hole but hey, if I made him combat efficient, strategically sound AND with a personality that doesn't make you wanna slap him to boot... That would be a perfect character and perfect is boring. PS: I know, this is probably another "over thinking" and may mess with the suspension of disbelief for the plot but.. The reason you guys couldn't pick people from the rebel army was because....? I mean, I know the OOC reason. It's just weird that the mentor/assistant would let this group of misfits have a chance before you asked people that may have actually been qualified.
