[/b] The Grand Empire of Frienia is one recently united through conquest after over one hundred years of war between two brothers. These wars dating back to 1798 after the death of Mathies VIII, lead to the Empire splitting. Two brothers claiming the throne, one supported by the people, the other the aristocrats lead to a series of wars referred to as “The Frienian Civil War” or sometimes just “The War of Brothers.” Eventually however Mathies IX reunited the people in the final push on the former capital of Frienia Azul in October of 1901.

The general climate of Frienia can be best described as vast. Stretching a large portion of the continent, it contains deserts, forests, and some tundra. However the overwhelming majority of Frienian land could be described as flat and easily available cropland. This has contributed to it’s massive population.

The government though an empire does have a parliamentary system and does have some control over the laws of the land and various other activities, however it is the king that holds majority rule over the country, and can easily revoke any laws he sees fit.
