[@Chickn]This reminds me of a match in League of Legends when people are saying "We need a tank!" lol Except it's "We need females." I play females, but I just feel if I changed him to a girl that I wouldn't be feeling the character. My muse would just die lol. I play females when I'm inspired to and if I changed him, it would be a "forced" move. However, I can always NPC females if people would like that?
