Tachibana Hibiki, Holding Determination in Her Fist
Hibiki didn't have time to say much of anything when Miku tried to help her out, to pull her out of the black mass. She's made a mistake, hadn't she? And now... now Miku was getting pulled in too! And it happened so fast, moments later they had both been deposited in greyness. It was a strange place that Hibiki had trouble describing, hardly what she had expected to be inside of the blob. There were cobwebs and it just seemed to go on forever, though she could faintly perceive that there was something else here, that there was a ceiling that was the outer portion of the blob creature's body. She'd screwed up really badly, hadn't she...? The girl faced away from Miku. When she spoke, her voice was somber. "I'm sorry, Miku... I really messed up," she said, her gaze downcast. And yet, even as she spoke, one hand curled into a fist. She'd really messed up, so she had to try and break out if she could, didn't she? It was true. She didn't know what was going on outside, but that didn't matter. What mattered right now was getting out. So she'd break through, she'd make a straight and direct path for Miku and herself to get out! Watching the 'ceiling' waver above her, she spun on her heel and drew her fist back, setting her gauntlet once more into the rocket booster format, gripping the handle as it swung forward, her left hand reaching out to grasp Miku's. "So I'm going to break straight through!" Hibiki had no idea if this would work, but she had to try. For Miku. For the whole universe. Flames erupted from the jet on the back of her gauntlet, and she lifted into the air, blasting upwards with a shout. She had to make a hole, she had to break free so Miku could escape, so they both could get out of wherever it was this was...! Just a Arakune prepared to deposit one of them into the holding unit, his entire back exploded outwards in a shower of black goo, gaping open in an act that surely stun it at the very least. Hibiki hit the ground and skidded, coming to a halt halfway across the room.
