[@Bishop] who said they're dead? Malkai hasn't attacked yet and who knows if Catarina hits. Vivian threw a fireball and downed one, but we don't know if it's dead or just got knocked down by force of the fire ball. Might be in for a surprise soon. And that's just the thing Bishop. They might not be dead, and we might not win. We're outnumbered against enemies who are resistant against magic and we only have one martial class. And despite what you may think, a battle sorcerer is not so hot in a melee. Not only that but the way you use spells is completely wrong with the source materials. Spells need to be casted then used, you can't use fire them off willy nilly with each punch. Casting requires concentration, which would give the enemy ample time to interrupt your spell casting by attacking you. Plus there's the fact you took them out so easily that it makes me wonder if anything can actually be a threat to you. You shattered one with a roundhouse kick strong enough to send them flying and you’re literally punching through stone. Combined with their magic resistance even if he infused his limbs with magic they wouldn’t help, so that’s telling me that somehow your character has the raw strength to knock around large stone creatures who are bigger and heavier than he is, and Xavio is just a sorcerer. He didn’t even use any spells like bull strength, which he doesn’t have anyways. This may be a fantasy and we may be using characters that are a high level, but that doesn’t mean this is a power fantasy where we can just steam roll through everything. We might have a plan and our strengths but things can quickly go shitters if we act cocky. That Dark Mantle fight could have killed us all if we didn’t have someone who could Dispel Magic on their darkness. Or if they didn’t just cast darkness again and put us right back to square one. This gargoyle fight isn't going to be any easie.
