The correction of humanity. At least that's what they called it. Genetic experimentation to repair humanity's flaws and create the perfect race. To prevent war, yet it created one. The purity war, the genetically damaged against the genetically pure.

The faction system rose from the ashes, controlling people based on their traits. Only one problem. The few people that didn't fit in anywhere were left for dead and were spat on by society, left to rot in the destroyed outskirts of the city. Or so they thought.

The Factionless were not as weak as most people thought. They were organized, living in safe zones and building networks throughout the city. It was as if they had created their own faction, not identified by any trait or characteristic, taking anyone and everyone who wanted to join their cause. They lived under the radar, secretly plotting to overthrow the faction system and it's leader. To return humanity to what it had been so long before.

This is a Divergent [i]inspired[/i] roleplay. None of this is canon and all of the original characters have been removed from the storyline. The idea is that the story takes place in an alternate timeline of the same world, starting on the days before the aptitude tests and the Choosing ceremony. The story has a plot outline, however it is primarily character driven and actions taken by the characters can lead to changes in said plot.
