That makes sense to me it does sound like it would have more power. Plus there is no chance whatsoever that a branding of the skin could come off. I think the mark will show in the fur too then. 

So if it a magical branding, should the demon be the one that does it seeing that she's his wolf? I figure that the branding should be part of the ceremony.
