As he spoke, a certain, doubtful insecurity in what he had to offer, Eli kept those eyes locked on him. He couldn't decide whether this kid was worth the extra effort to dig deeper, to find something that may just make Eli take an extended interest in him past the general inquiries that he already made. He couldn't determine if Oliver here was someone that had just laid all of his cards right there on the table, or if he simply was being modest. Shifting in his seat somewhat, Eli's left leg crossed over his right one as to give the appearance of a provoking, thoughtful posture. He listened to the words of shy Oliver carefully, wanting to choose how he responded carefully. Those last few words that he spoke had decided it for Eli. It had made him internally make the decision that Oliver was someone who was hiding someone. It was just enough for him to become intrigued in this quiet, silent-type; and when Elijah Damian Nelson became intrigued, nothing would stop him from getting al of the secrets from that person. "Is anyone really, though?" Eli offered up a rhetorical question in response to Oliver's comment about not really being athletic. "Not a lot of us are really athletic - well, aside from Ash." Eli lightly chuckled, giving Ash a small smirk. "So, obviously since you aren't the only one, anything el--" And of course, like it is always with the guy, enter Jackson Drake stage face-first-on-the-floor. Eli might not mind Jackson, he could only take so much of the guy in the same hour. First it was him shouting out the pride of Team Red while almost crashing into Adielle, now it was his obnoxious, not-so-soild landing as he attempted some kind of hopping over the table in front of the benches that Team Grey was sitting on. When he was still face-first, Eli subtlely laughed. He covered his mouth with his hand slightly so that it was muffled. Apparently he couldn't contain his amusement of how much of an idiot Jackson Torvald Drake was.

Location: Main Hall Interacting With Ariel [@HaleyTheRandom], Ash [@lovely complex], Oliver [@foxygen],

Yeah, he totally nailed it - well, after his face became really acquainted with not only how cold the wooden floors was, but how interwoven Ash's boots were with the lace and leather. And they were more grey than they were black. One never could really tell from a far away distance, but Jackson got a good look at them when his face nearly hit them. But hey! He didn't and that's what counted at the end of the day. Standing on his two feet, feeling his legs having a slight sore feeling from his fall, Jackson Drake overheard two things. First, the sound of a muffled laugh. Don't think that I didn't hear that, Eli Nelson; and second, the mocking - but entirely harmless - words of Ariel Gray. He ignored the first because, despite the temptation of wanting to knock out Eli's smug expression with a right hook and maybe a left straight, he found that addressing Ariel was more beneficial to his serenity. "Oh you know, I just thought it would be a good idea to find out how cold the wooden floors are." Jackson said, passing off his obvious bail for wanting to find exactly how cold the floor were. "Here's a public service announcement: don't lay on them if you're naked. Trust me, I did that last year and, well, let's just say that was one cold-ass night." Just thinking about it gave the poor guy the shivers. "ANNYWAYS!" Jackson shook his head, eyes falling on some oddball of a guy looking at the floor, twirling a dandelion in his hand. "Oh, I see you've met Nessa, huh?" That much was obvious based on the kind of dandelion that was in that guy's hand. "She's a bit of an oddball, that one, but I have to admit, she's really hot. Maybe I should--" And Jackson was cutoff by the welcome sound of Ash's voice. "I think you meant barely alive. Despite my luck, I almost bit the dust a few weeks ago. Took a nasty bail on a rail. I tell ya, Seattle's fucking great, but a potential life-ender, she is." Jackson said, the fear of God in his eyes, or at least, the fear of almost dying. He could remember it like it was yesterday -well, two weeks ago, but who needs to sweat the details?
There he was, skating in the streets of Seattle, which, surprisingly, it wasn't raining. He was skating, and came to a flight of stairs. He was feeling adventurous, so he took it upon himself to climb the height of the stairs, each foot bringing him closer to the top. He still could remember the way the stone steps felt on the soles of his shoes. It was a good thing he had a nice pair of Vans, or he might have been suffering from an aching foot added to the scraps and bruises he got from that day. When he reached the top, he backed about three yards away. He needed to make sure that he had enough distance between him and the straight rail so that he could project enough speed to get a good jump, plus a good grind. And thus began the journey. He remembered how fast he was going, and he remembered the air he got. In the first try, he didn't like the positon, so he gripped the wall he was closest to, and went to try again. The second time, he wasn't going fast enough, so stopped a foot before he took that jump. The third time, he had the right position. It was perfectly aligned with the rail, and he made contact. He rode it for about ten seconds, each second after the initial first one giving him a rush of speed each time. By the fifth one, Jackson's hair was flying behind him, and the whistle of the wind in his ears. He was going fast. Too fast. With this speed, his balance became the wildcard. He had the speed, a pitch-perfect nosegrind, and everything seemed perfect, right? Well, almost perfectly, anyways. About halfway down the rail, his balance, which had been exactly where it needed to be, was starting to waver. He felt his body going side-to-side as the seventh second came around. It wasn't good, that's for sure. He did his best to regain his balance without forsaking the grind. By the middle point of the ninth and tenth second came around, Jackson's body was leaning too far to the right, and...
CRASH!
Fell he did and fell hard he did. He was still seven or eight stairs up from the ground, and he went tumbling. First, his head hit the stone. Not exactly hard, but it wasn't soft either. From there, his body kept on rolling like a log, bouncing occasionally until he fell face-first on the concrete down.
"So, long story short? I am barely alive, and I was bed-ridden for a full week. I almost didn't pass my final exams..." Jackson said, fully explaining exactly what happened to him a few weeks ago. And now resume the continuation of what Ash was saying. "Oh I see, so this silent one is a new Grey, huh?" Jackson went back to dandelion boy, his eyes trying to see what was up with him. "Why so quiet?" Jackson arched an eyebrow. It was odd that someone was so quiet, especially after hearing an exciting tale of someone bailing hard. "Come on dude, you must have a reaction to that story I told you all, right?" Jackson, as he always was, got close to Oliver. His eyes nearly against the face of Oliver, but he then caught the sound of Ash continuing speaking. He backed off. "The chicks. Definitely the chicks. Oh and I guess the cabins. They're lit as fuck." Jackson smiled like a goof. "And you bet I am! Same stiputation? I win, you give me a date. You win, and I sit out the first REd vs Grey match." Jackson had the fire of the Devils of Camp Liberty in his eyes. ]"And by date, I don't mean no half-assed walk back to the cabins. I mean an ACTUAL date where we dine and all that shit. I'm gonna romance the fuck out of you, Ash." Jackson sternly said, his expression going from goofy grin to solemn stare in two seconds flat.
