Motion and life are regarded as slow-turning concepts by him and he has embraced this way of thinking. Thus, everything from his manner of speech to his response to crises are enacted at a lethargic pace. That is not to say he cares not for the world, but the world must invoke interest in him before he interferes.

As such, this behavior breeds a certain dislike of authority and politics. Talk of overarching powers and the divine will be wasted on him as he glosses over such terms with near-stubbornness. Instead, an aura of calm carries about his form coupled with a deep appreciation of nature and the surrounding world.

Above all else, Darrel sees himself as a guardian to those who deserve his assistance. Despite his powerful nature, he does not interject into the lives of others unless convinced so. Getting him to listen to your story is only half the battle.[/color]

[color=c4df9b]It is quite strange to see someone as gifted as Darrel squander his gifts with little effort. As a child, the young man was considered quite a skilled prodigy in a long line of failures within the Black family. Because of his exceptional skill as a Sound Knight, it was thought that he would perhaps change the world through his actions.

And why not? He hailed from the Bach Empire and had the political influence to carry out any task. But at some point after his graduation of Cadenza Academy, the young man’s ambition dwindled to that of a spark. Abandoning family and pride, the youth set out to wander on his own. Arguably the most powerful Sound Knight the Bach Empire has ever generated, many were shocked and outraged at his decision to throw everything away. Now Darrel is treated with both scorn and fear; hatred for mutiny towards the Bach Empire and dread at the deadly power the man could potentially unleash upon the world. [/color]

[b][color=white]Instrument and Weapons:[/color][/b] 
[color=c4df9b]Darrel Black has but only one weapon taken in the form of a silver and purple ring upon his left hand. With it, he is able to control and command flocks and swarms of crows. Songs are produced through the bird’s cawing as well as ranging forms of hypnosis through the birds as well. So powerful are these hallucinations, that it is said Darrel can completely rewrite one’s individual reality through his flocks alone.

[color=c4df9b][i]Nevermore:[/i] Apart from summoning his Spirit, Darrel’s song can spread death and decay with but a few whispers. Trees and undergrowth turn foul when this song is in use, the state of death rapidly increasing the healthier a target is. Even so, Darrel’s song works best on fauna life than living creatures.[/color]

[color=c4df9b]Moriel does not speak nor does she show much of any emotion. This nature, combined with her monstrous appearance, often give others the presumption that she is a mindless creature. On the contrary, Moriel is highly intelligent to the point that it can be easily said she alone understands Darrel completely.

Despite her lack of speaking, the two can seemingly communicate with a mere glance. The Spirit is even seen often acting as a mother-like figure to Darrel, a rare side only known by him. To those who seek to threaten her master however, Moriel embodies the full wrath of nature and the crushing destruction it can bring down upon man.[/color]

[color=c4df9b]Moriel has the power to communicate with other animals and even plant-life. She has no other special abilities in her arsenal but she doesn’t need any. Vicious creatures of the forest will rise and beckon to her call without hesitation; trees and undergrowth itself will upturn to protect her and her master.[/color]

As someone who’s trying to bring about some justice in this world, one would expect her to be gung ho about the constant crime and corruption running rampant all around her. But Farrah understands that these things take patience…and her ambition is a slow, burning fire.

She won’t turn down a plea for help but she will take a moment to consider it first. Jumping headfirst into situations is not something she thinks kindly of especially when forced to do so herself. As such, people can perceive her as either lazy or open-minded. Though people’s perceptions don’t really faze her all that much.

Apparently she has a strong fascination and respect for her older cousin, as well as a deep disregard and annoyance for a certain blonde with a thing for tigers. Though no one really knows who these individuals are anyway…[/color]

[color=00aeef]Hailing from the craggy terrain of the Chopin Republic, the majority of Farrah’s direct family comes from a descending line of miners. But the young girl who would embark towards great things wanted a life of daring escape and overall more action. So she looked up to the lifestyle of her eldest cousin, a rumored huntress that was said to bring crime and turmoil to its knees.

Eager to follow in those footsteps instead, Farrah trained hard and strong to become a Song Knight worthy of making her family name proud. At some point in time, she was able to summon a Spirit of her own; combined with the fiery ambition of someone like her, the two set off to become a duo of Song Knight and Spirit.[/color]

[color=00aeef]Farrah wields an oversized violin bow that also doubles as a sword. The blade can be coated with a majestic blue flame via her magic. The blue flames will burn all others except when wielded by the hands of Farrah or her Spirit.

[color=00aeef][i]Dragon’s Song:[/i] By using her “blade”, Farrah is able to produce a fast paced melody through the sound of violins. Her magic thus coats her fists and feet in the blue flames that engulfs her blade, giving her an edge in physical combat. Combined with her knowledge in hand-to-hand combat, this makes for a potent combination.[/color]

[color=red]Ravielin is the complete opposite of her partner; that is, while Farrah can usually keep a cool head on her shoulders, the dragon-like being is always itching to cave someone’s face in. Formerly known as an untamable Spirit, her resonance really only goes well with Farrah. Anyone else, and she’ll probably try to pick a fight with them or just burn them outright.

Even so, Ravielin is, like all Spirits, extremely loyal to her Song Knight. Both girls acknowledge the bond they share with each other to the point where words are not required and a simple glance is all they need to understand each other. Ravielin, a Spirit once wild and untamed, sees Farrah not as her owner but as an equal and perhaps her closest friend.[/color]

[b][color=white]Powers:[/color][/b] 	
[color=red]As a master of both wind and flame, Ravielin can be considered an extremely deadly Spirit due to one power directly strengthening the other. Unlike her Song Knight, Ravielin’s flames burn a blistering red and is able to produce them directly from her palms in the form of fireballs, streams of flame, and other projectiles.

Wind is also gathered in her hands, Ravielin able to use them to slice opponents by giving them a cutting edge. Her wings are also able to construct huge gusts and it is not uncommon for Ravielin to conjure up flaming tornadoes to decimate her foes. Furthermore, the Spirit also has the strength to carry Farrah around via flying.[/color]
