I don't think they have boarding schools - he would be taught by tutors, probably at the very least up until he was sixteen. At that point he's an "adult" (can start doing things he chooses) and could have left to go abroad. If he's seventeen, he could have been away for a year, and is only just returning. Why he returned is, of course, up to you.

We'd love to have you! At the moment, we are in dire need of a king or queen (or both) for the kingdom of Lucifer. (Which really works out that you're interested in that kingdom.) If you want to take up multiple characters, they don't need to be in the same kingdom, either. But if you feel you could handle ruling a kingdom, taking up a monarch for Lucifer would be [i]fantastic[/i]. Draco and I can fill you in on the basics of what's going on in the kingdom, too, and answer any questions you have about it.

One thing to keep in mind is that Lucifer monarchs rule by power, not by lineage. So they were strong enough to overthrow the previous monarch(s), and hold the throne against any challengers.
