Chris had jumped off the back when given the chance. He hated leaving Claire with Jack. What if this whole situation was a set up? Jack had played them from the start? He shook his head. Chris crouched and leaned against the tree next to him and aimed his pistol and waited. Claire on the other hand had been nervous the whole ride, especially after Chris got out. She trusted Jack, but he didn't have any chemistry with her, so how could they possibly work well together? And just driving up to the...while her idea...seemed pretty stupid now. Especially now that she saw that there was three people...and oh joy! they all had weapons too! She just sorta shrank in the seat pulling out the gun, but keeping it from view. She was definitely going to have to let Jack do all the talking...As he stopped and got out she unbuckled her seat belt and slid out on her side, making sure tat the truck hid most of her body, and more importantly the gun. Every second seemed like an hour, the unknown worried her. She didn't understand why she was so nervous. Whenever she was with Chris she was never nervous. Why was this so different? Could she really trust Jack? She looked at him from behind for a moment while he talked. All she could do now was pray...
