Lucius gazes down at the fight in the pit, hardly interested even as the melee between the three participants forms and blood begins to flow. The Ork has been handed their weapon back, somewhat evening up the battle, though the Astartes still reckons that the War Hound is the most likely of the group to come away from it; next to him, Sanath is inhaling something from a tube, apparently calm as he sinks back into a seat whose origin is unclear. Overall, a rather standard scene of Chaos, perhaps even somewhat tame by their standards. All of a sudden he is patted on the shoulder, then handed a plain full-face mask and a gun of some sort as he turns. The weapon is unfamiliar to him, appearing to be of a design he hasn't seen before, either due to his extreme temporal displacement or his general unfamiliarity with human-scale guns in general. A bolter or chainsword would be the superior option any day, but- judging by the number of other people wielding similar equipment, suggesting an imminent Imperial assault- it seems he has no other option at this point in time. Fortunately, he reflects as he places the mask over his face, the gun doesn't require him to remove any components such as the trigger guard, which would be a nigh-impossibility for him should he have required it. Astartes power armour tends to possess at least some tools for the job in question; in this place, he has no such tool available. If the attacks directed at him in the near future are only as strong as those sent out, his Black Carapace will be able to absorb much of the damage. Otherwise, he will probably need to get creative with his projectile dodging. [@Lord Coake][@Hank]
