[indent]Clovis's father sent him to study at the Citadel when he was thirteen. He life before he started his studies was one of innocence and joy. He went fishing with his brothers, whittled wood in to toys for his little sisters, , climbed trees, made mud pies, and spent a lot of time swimming in the river. As the third youngest son, his father thought becoming a Maester was the best path for him, as he showed no interest in swords, or sailing. Life at the Citadel was boring in the beginning but as time past his love for learning grew.

He was happy, and they married shortly after meeting one another. She was much younger then him, but love conquers all. He was overjoyed when their first son, Vernon, was born.
