Before long his pages were obscured everytime someone moved too suddenly, sending fog shooting up just high enough to block out the words. Then, as those practicing got better at the spell, combined with the sheer number of spells being cast, the fog was thick enough to obscure the air in front of him even without being disturbed. He stood abruptly, getting his head above the fog to look to the window. "Wingardium Leviosa," he said under his breath. Aiming the spell at the latch that held the window shut. It flicked up, unlocking the seal. The spell was followed quickly by a poking jinx, nudging the door open softly. The breeze quickly carried the fog out, sending it billowing out of the room and down the side of the castle. Much relieved by the more manageable level of fog in the air, Mike began experimenting with the spell himself. Starting with a small trail of smoke from the tip of his wand and gradually growing the size to that of a large cloud. He ended the spell after that, a satisfied grin on his face. He cast a few more charms to help empty the room of smoke out the window, small breezes transporting gusts of fog. After a bit more visibility had returned to the window, Mike finally took note of the Forbidden Forest and the CoMC class loitering around outside it. Was something going on? He didn't hear Oliver's comment about the fog spell being used on the train, so he didn't reply. Instead he said; "What's that?" gesturing to the commotion outside with the end of his wand.
