As the rest of the damaged ship rammed into the first enemy ship with extreme force, a massive cracking noise could be heard as the first enemy ship, the one the Lotus pirates were upon, broke into two pieces, and was sinking along with the other ship. Fortunately, Mathias's attack prevented anyone from getting harmed, certainly preventing the pirates from either dieing or being severely injured. But if they did not act quickly, they would fall into the water. 

Well, all except Croma, who was still on the Lotus ship.

The enemy crew did not have so much luck however, as they had either died from the hammer or the impact of the ships colliding, were lying severely injured and knocked out cold on top of some debris, or were drowning.
