[@Wernher] True. And we already have a stigma attached to us due to the whole 'Some of us tried to kill the high king' issue. 

I still think we can "present" a nice, wholesome front while also behaving ruthlessly and doing whatever it takes to survive. Really, that's the point. Would going back home be nice? Gods, yes, but that doesn't happen if our clan is destroyed.
