But the thing is I need to know otherwise I'm scrambling to figure out what the hell is going on, amoung other things that are happening. No, you didn't need my approval but I did need to know. 

That actually goes for everyone, although most people have told me what's going on. It simply helps me to know what I'm doing as well as to make sure there aren't going to be conflicting events.
