As Erin looked at the captured meta-human, she felt a little bit sorry for him. She breathed a deep breath and then looked him in his swollen eyes. She jumped into his mind, but immediately felt a bit of resistance from him. She gasped as a stab of pain hit her mind, but it subsided. She quickly read all of the thoughts that flashed from the man. 

When she finished, she pulled out of his mind and linked back with Jess. [color=ec008c][i]"It was all jumbled up, but I made out something about an Ambush ordered by someone called 'The Enchantress.' We'll wait till we get back to HQ to talk to the others about it."[/I][/color]

When they were back on the ground, there were four Meta-humans standing. She was about to tell them to surrender, but out of no where, a large invisible meta-human became visible, and grabbed her by the throat, lifting her into the air. She tried to pry his hands off, but he was far too strong for her. [b]"Let us go, or I snap her tiny neck!"[/b]

[color=ec008c]"I'm-" [/color]Erin gasped, her hand dropped her staff and reaching to her belt, grabbing her high-voltage Taser. [color=ec008c]"-NOT TINY!"[/color] She shoved the nodes of the Taser into the man's pectoral muscles. The problem with Tasing someone was touch you was that you received nearly the same amount of voltage as your opponent did. As the electricity flowed through the both of them, they both collapsed and shouted in pain. 

When the meta-humans grip finally let go of her throat, she felt her body ache. The amount of volts it had taken to drop the man had shaken her significantly smaller body to the core. She rolled over to the pavement and groaned. [color=ec008c]"That turn of events was..."[/color] She laughed out loud. [color=ec008c]"...stunning..." [/color]
