After a while of walking, Kido finally encountered an interesting-looking student in the hall. He looked bored, anyway, so why not start making friends? 
"Hi there! My name's Kido!" ...Was that too abrupt? Hopefully not. It would be a pain to make a fool of oneself while trying to make a good first impression.
