Cassius somewhat glared at Karn. "Only if I could learn to be a bitch like you..." "Whoa..." Blank grinned. "He got you, I didn't." "Right. While she rummages through things, I am going to be outside, not part of your troupe anyways... Princess. We are moving out." Cassius scoffed at the girl. The amount of thought he exuded was wasted on her. Though, to him, she may as well be expendable. "Annnnd where do you think you're going?" Baku blinked as he strolled over, many of the crew members were rummaging through essentials to expendables. "Outside. I thought my voice was clear enough for you. So I'll say it again.-" "No. I heard that. But with the Princess? On my Watch?" "Yeah. Get over it. I am the guy that works under your employer... and the only one here with insight... So unless you all wish to die due to what I can easily see... than do everything I say." Baku gave an amused laugh. "Kid, who's chain you trying to pull? You're a mouse against a bull." Cassius pointed his rifle to him. "Not even worth the lead in this gun... But if you must know... I was going to clear the path to the spring... You ARE out of water... A healing Spring at that." "Wait... How did you know that!? Were you snooping through our supplies!? Talk damn you!" Baku looked to the strolling Lumyian. "Nope. Just saw it as I slept. All you need to know. You can have regular water that quenches thirst, or you can have a steady supply of rations that sustain even the gravest of injuries till you get to Lindblum... to which you will be compensated considerably... But maybe my thoughts are just a fart in the wind..." Cassius exhaled as he walked out through an opening. Garnet really did not approve of what she heard... but a healing spring would be most helpful... Though she'd wait on Hitori... Yet she felt bad just leaving him to go alone. "What a Bastard child..." Baku scoffed. "Want me to go after him?" Blank blinked under his wraps. "Ughh... Do what you will. There be much to prepare before we leave... That Spring does sound useful... But unsafe." Baku dismissed with a nod of his head. Blank exhaled before looking back to Karn. "You have to piss everyone off? He might seem moody as all hell, but you're really not helping...Though... A Healing Spring does take priority over safety..." Blank once again let out a huff of air before hoisting his broad sword with him, a cutlass in the other hand... He looked down to see Cassius' helmet and sighed... he cupped it into his arm before making haste. "Why do you get angered so easily?" Ifrit hummed. "You know, you're nice and all. But I really rather not ponder it with you. In my work place, we never really act that way. This group is effecting me. And I just rather clear my head. Besides, I do need to test the product I am carrying... "And? You can still try to make more pleasant bonds rather than leaving due to a misunderstanding." "Okay. Let me play devil's advocate with you... Say I were to be friends with thieves and liars... Then what? Sure, I have 'Friends' big whoop... "Wanna Fight about it? Fine... The benefit of compatriots means you have those to lean on... Even if they can seem... unsavory~. But it means you have allies... Those to rely on." Ifrit retorted. Cassius scoffed before leaping into a tree... a Goblin was walking down what looked like a dirt path... As it walked past, Cassius dropped down, round housing it's neck onto the tree, effectively breaking it's neck. "Venting frustration on a creature? Pfff... Pitaful." "Oh my god, Shut up Ifrit. Seriously. I am just clearing the path to the springs. But to answer your question, I feel quite capable of protecting myself. My job is to get the Princess to the Regent. They are not essential... And- His thought was interrupted at Blank briskly walking to him. To which Cassius gave an amused glare. "Easy. I just brought your helmet..." Blank handed it to Cassius. "Truce...? And... I saw that... Not bad." Blank smiled. Cassius let out a sigh before taking the helmet. "Thank you Blank. At least someone in your crew has decency to be nice..." "Cassius... Right? You need... To understand Karn was just joking. She does not know you nor trust you. And don't blame her. Anyone would be weary of someone who used the form of another just... to take your job away ya know? What if someone tried to replace you in your work space? Would suck, right?" Cassius sighed once more, conceding to his point. "Fine. She has every right to dislike me. That is perfectly fine. I just... Not to seem like a broody person, but I just need air, and I want to prove I can do something to help past lucid dreams to find my next destination in life. But..." "It is not easy. I know. But you can't just march off when someone pisses you off. Granted, it is better than what you did to that goblin...But still..." Blank expressed sympathy and worry. "Just... Tell me what is bothering you. Would that help you feel better?" "Is he serious?" Cassius blinked, feeling flustered. "Fiiine..." Cassius walked away from the wreck as he was already. "I just... Don't understand everyone around me. My goal is something you know already. I don't meed to understand them to do my job..." Cassius looked about the fauna to see if there was any herbs to collect. "Then don't. But don't just leave your comrades behind either. You need to be stronger than that." Blank leaned down as he pulled out a green herb. "Comrades? You guys wanted to throw me off the ship from the way it seemed. Gave me false nicknames. And then try to talk to me like you all know me. And then you expect just to stand in place... What foolishness..." "Stop running away. You won't make it far." "THIS. Has nothing to do with running away... I am clearing. The Path... So you all have supplies. So what if I vent along the way." Cassius shook his head. "That is my point I am trying to make. You're angry. You won't fight clearly." Blank chuckled. "But what else is on your mind?" "Well... Since you're insistent... Ifrit won't shut up. I am not terribly fond of the company I was stuck with. Randy is spacing out... You have a Fox who just dropped a bomb on people... and then... How he butchered and the blood..." Cassius squirmed a bit. "It is just so much... the Alchemist I can see is not very fond of everyone and I feel terrible I got him involved... But it was the only way I knew how to blend in. It was all I could do. Your friend? I never wanted to be angry at her... then Your boss... His words cut straight through me... I don't even know what to do at this point... But I am trying to make the first step... Just anything..." Cassius exhaled. "Look. You're carrying every problem, except yours just about. Yeah some are yours, but you need to just breathe... So..." Blank grinned as he handed him a cutlass. "Practice with me..." "You... What...?" Cassius blinked. "Err..." "Come on, sword fight with me." "Sounds devilishly inappropriate..." "Yeah... Let's not go there... But work your muscles..." Blank held his broadsword out straight... Cassius placed his left hand at his hip, taking a fencing stance... There the sound of clashing steel could be heard.
