Each House specialised in a particular expertise; cultural arts, agriculture, communications, ... and others, including war. It is not unusual for Houses to have tensed relations with the others. While some are genuine political liaisons, a few exchange pleasantries as a guise for espionage before a catalyst occurs to set war into motion. Thus the Houses often marry their children away as offerings and gifts, to appease and bring closer two forces together. Her mother the queen and her sister are practically estranged from her at this point. They only see and talk with each other when needed, which isn't often when Kei hardly leaves the castle grounds. This has only made it more frustrating that they're forcing her to marry. Kei was born with two different colored eyes. No one knows why though, but usually it's a bit of a shock to strangers. At such, out of frustration, he shut himself from the world and grew distant to everyone. When one of the young maids, untrained and childlike, stumbled upon his guilty pleasure (find out in RP ( ˘ ³˘)♥), the two grew closer. At one point, the maid-in-training, innocent and honest, proudly declared she would grow up to be pretty and marry the third prince. She is strongly independent and iron willed. However her relations are very close with only her oldest daughter, which some people are still confused about. • [b]King Cobham Miyoshi (Age 29):[/b] Originally from the Swan family, he is much more submissive in nature than the queen - so much so that he even tries at times to anticipate what the queen is wanting or thinking. Some think he's only there for power and wealth, but generally he is well liked for his loyal attitude. • [b]Princess Nori Miyoshi (Age 21):[/b] Kei's older sister and next in line for the crown. In only a few years time, Queen Sakura will be stepping down to let Nori take her place as is tradition and take a king of her own.
