I don't think she's ever taught anyone magic. Vestec used her essence to make all Galbarian races capable of learning magic while Lakshmi and Ventus gained knowledge of Astartian Magic through accidents. In the roughest definition, it's using your soul for different purposes, whether they be physical augmentations or more incredible feats.
