So I like his backstory. Like, alot. A few questions though. Does he intend to be a student at the Academy? If so, he's kind of old for that being in his early twenties. Unless you're saying he's a Senior or something or that he joined late? Furthermore, does his Tome turn into a person? I ask this because you have an image up for his Tome; or are you just referring to the staff in the picture?

Finally, don't worry about his Tome power being similar to other's since it's not that big of a deal. From what I can tell, his staff can only control wind and that alone won't be a problem. I look forward to seeing him develop.
